Today is the first day that I started center with my kindergartener and things went pretty well. I have a range in my room so I am trying to adjust the centers to accommodate the students. This can take planning the center a little longer.
I have a friend in first grade who is helping me understand how to blog. I am not sure not to give the Top Ten Award but here is who I would give the award to
1. Chalk Talk
2. Mrs. Wills Kindergarten
3. Kinder Crayons
4. First Grade a la carte
5. Little Warrior
6. My Kindergarten Kids
7. Little Miss Kindergarten
8. Can Kinders Do

I have been in school for 14 days with 21 babies in Kindergarten. I come home extremely tired ready for bed. I get to school at 7:30 and stay until 5:30. I have no parapro so I am by myself. The students have specials first thing in the morning and lunch at 12:50. I have been going over rules and how to use classroom materials. I have a big range of kids. It so hard in the beginning of the year, but then I remember the tremendous gains they make at the end of the school year. I know things will get better in a few weeks.

It has been a long time since I have may a post. In the beginning of July I went on vacation and then I came home. Next out of the blue my son was extremely ill and I flew out to the hospital to take care of him. I came home when he was better and school was starting. I am now at school. My classroom is ready. This is my second day with 21 kindergartener and no parapros. They keep brings kids into my room. I have one student who just want to cry. He just came from Mexico and does not know English. I know very little Spanish. Two I had two parents who were very rude to me. I just am exhausted today. I need a good parent communication log for this class. Does anyone have one that I can use? I would greatly appreciate it. I next post will be better. I just needed a place to talk to other teachers right now. Thanks!

Hi Everyone,
This is my first blog! I am very unsure on what I am doing. I have enjoyed going to the different blogs and thought that I would like to start one of my own. I do not know how to grab buttons, but I am going to learn how to do different things this is one of my summer goals. I have been participating in the Debbie Diller's, Math Work Stations book. In addition, I am reading The Book Whisperer. I love talking to other teachers and sharing ideas.
